The security systems includes inside and outside alarm beams connected to an armed response company. The gates and garage doors are motorized.

An Inverter with Battery Back-up has been installed to keep lights and plug points working during 2.5hrs stretches of loadshedding
The cottage with separate entrance, separate garage, and walled off for privacy, is not included in the lease.
Westcliff is the warmest suburb of Hermanus getting the most hours of sunshine, especially through the winter months.
