Property Review CCH6 "Amazing location, right at Gearings point, on the third floor overlooking the bay. Hermanus is known for it's whale watching from the shore - I was able to see whales from my bed in this apartment! And once you get out of bed, there is a lovely balcony with a swinging chair for more whale watching. Bring your binoculars! Sue was a very helpful host, proactive in recommending restaurants, a local whale watching WhatsApp group and the best whale watching charter boat which we subsequently booked. Parking was in the basement below the property. They have "loadshedding" (scheduled power cuts) across South Africa due to power shortages, but I was delighted to find in this apartment, the impact was minimal. The main lights, wifi, tv and some sockets still worked due to back up batteries. Recommended."
